Evelyn Palo was a third-rate screenwriter, so poor she could barely stay alive. She had no choice but to bundle up her scripts and sell them.
People in the arts couldn't make a living these days. There was nothing she could do about it.
She envied those rich people with nothing to do but throw money around, like that Stark fellow,
and the Wayne next door.
Her eight scripts sold for 800 million. As she lay contentedly asleep on a pile of money, she discovered that her scripts had come to life.
Evelyn cried for help.
She thought it was bad enough that the Keeper of Secrets was a prankster, but it turned out her teammates weren't even consistent.
One was a child who frequently got their memories mixed up.
There were strange villains and some superpowered people being controlled by the scripts. The only reliable stat was apparently luck.
Whenever they rolled a great success, Evelyn stared silently at her own critical failure.
She wanted to beat up the nasty landlord who'd kept her in the dark. Anyway, if you're adapting my scripts, are you paying me royalties or not?
Script One: [Red Butterfly]
Script Two: [City of Sacred Ruins]
Script Three: [Me and My Child]
(Couple undecided)
Reader's Guide:
1. House rules!!! (Important)
2. Characters may be out of character. I'll try to keep things reasonable, and the foreshadowing will pay off.
3. Tabletop role-playing plus some Hollywood plotlines.
4. My thoughts are a little jumbled, so I need to sort them out. Updates outside of midnight are revisions.
Theme: Suffering and enjoying it
