[The King's Avatar] The Weather's Turning Cold, Wang Jiexi, Time to Go Bankrupt

Ye Sheng and Wang Jiexi completed all seven years at Hogwarts together. One returned to China to join Tiny Herb's youth training camp, while the other joined the Department of Mysteries at the Ministry of Magic. Five years later, the day before Ye Sheng, now a deputy department head, was due to become department head, she left a resignation letter and returned to China to play in the Glory League alongside her big brother.

The old department head: ...So I'm just never going to be able to retire, then?

Ye Sheng: I'll come back once I'm done playing, I promise!

"If we head back now, we might make it in time for the fireworks."

"Without breaking, there can be no rebuilding."

"You're as capable as anyone. You just need a little push."

"You've done really well."

"..."

She stood there like a lamp in the dark, her hidden edge and unwavering path ever unchanged. Compared with the younger players in Glory who needed her care, she was already a senior on life's journey.

"Don't be afraid. Go do what you want."

The younger sister of Ye Xiu, two years younger than him and the same age as Wang Jiexi. She's from Slytherin.

(Not a crossover. I only borrowed a few professors' names. As everyone knows, HP is a setting.)

I'm fine with any pairing and will never write explicit sex. Make of it what you will.

The first two chapters use second person, then it switches to third person from chapter three onward.

The title has absolutely nothing to do with the story. It's purely a joke.

Suggestions that aren't abusive are welcome.

Theme: Even fanfiction needs a theme.
