Stranded in Another World, Struggling to Start a Business

I

Yan Lanyin unexpectedly inherited a restaurant and got a free bonus: binding to the Food Tycoon System.

But before he could recover from the sudden windfall, he learned that in just one hour, he would meet the inevitable fate of anyone transmigrating to another world: getting hit and killed by a car.

Only by binding to the System and transmigrating to another world could he escape this disaster.

Yan Lanyin: "..."

Thanks for asking. I just finished reading No Longer Human. [A gradually unhinged smile]

II

After binding to the System to save his life and transmigrating to another world, Yan Lanyin ran into a problem on his very first day at work.

Question: You start with an undernourished yellow dog fighting you for a meat bun, plus a restaurant overgrown with weeds that looks like a haunted house after dark. How are you supposed to complete the System's mission?

Answer: Amen.

[This story is also known as: From the start, all you have is a dog, and the rest is all about keeping your head down.] [If I could, I'd take out the System first, then discuss the meaning of life with Mr. Dazai.]

Reader's guide:

1. Restaurant management + food + feel-good wish fulfillment

2. If you experience any adverse reactions, please stop eating immediately and find other delicious food nearby to ease your discomfort.

3. Everyone knows a story's potential is determined by its author, but the potential of my stories is determined by my cat overlord.

4. Thank you, lovely readers, for your orders. This restaurant will do its best to create dishes so delicious that even the Dark Cuisine world would be put to shame.
