Growing Old in the Detective Conan World

After successfully retiring from the Villain Roleplaying Department, Ueno Matsu picked a peaceful shonen-manga world with the help of his artificially stupid System, hoping to settle down and enjoy his retirement.

Unexpectedly, something went wrong on his very first day in the Detective Conan world.

Because the world couldn't bear the strain, Ueno Matsu had no choice but to stuff parts of his soul into other bodies with the help of a certain useless little world consciousness, reducing the pressure he put on the world as much as possible.

As compensation, the world consciousness promised that as long as Ueno Matsu agreed not to kill the protagonists or important supporting characters favored by fate, the entire world could be his playground.

He wouldn't have to worry about money or status.

Retirement is retirement, wherever you do it, right?

Ueno Matsu, lover of melodramatic plots, stroked the soft hair of the attractive new bodies in his System storage and smiled as he agreed.

As for the people who would soon have their worldviews shattered and left hanging by a thread after being put through the wringer?

The world consciousness thought groggily:

They might get through it if they just hang in there. That's still better than being sent straight to the afterlife by the Demon King, isn't it?

1. The timeline is chaotic; everything serves the plot.

2. The protagonist is an atypical chaotic troublemaker, a great demon villain.

3. Includes livestreaming and secret identities. The System disappears in Chapter 2.

4. Melodramatic plots means things like, I love myself, I kill myself, and I'm my own love rival.

5. Fake BL, actually no romantic pairings. The protagonist only puts on secret identities to act; there is no selfcest. Read with caution if that bothers you.

6. All glory belongs to the original work. High levels of OOC ahead.
