Lu Mian is an ordinary male college student with “a bit of good looks.” He's been favored by the “Goddess of Luck” for years, but after turning down someone's confession, he slips and falls into the water. When he wakes up, he finds himself in this bloody, violent infinite world. What a hapless guy...
Lu Mian, “favored by the gods,” unlucky guy: ...Wait! I object. If the Goddess of Luck favors me, why did I end up in there!? (?`^??)?
Some “person who favors him,” lovesick god: ...If my sweet darling doesn't come, how will we meet? How will you fall into my warm embrace~???~
Lu Mian: Is... is there a pervert here? (?˙▽˙?)
Instance One [Secrets of the Haunted Village]
[...Legend has it that in this mysterious, eerie village, there is a “treasure” that can grant any wish.]
[The “treasure” lures greedy people from all over to gather here. They try to seize the legendary “treasure” through competition, murder, and persecution.]
[But... sadly... what awaits them is... being trapped forever... in this village with no way out...]
Lu Mian wakes up on a rickety bus, anxiously following the other players to the instance entrance. But after failing to knock, he gets kicked out by the homeowner instead?
Boss: Darling, don't accuse me unfairly. I'd love for you to never leave the bed beneath me~
Instance Two [Midnight High School]
[A series of murders has taken place at a famous school. Is this a collapse of morality, or a case of human persecution?]
[Who is the killer hiding on campus? You... or him...? Death follows death. Who will be the next target...?]
[Time is running out... It no longer matters who the killer is. The truth will eventually be buried... You'll all be drained of life by the fresh soil covering the truth.]
Because of some unknown bug, Lu Mian enters the instance two days before the other players. In just two days, he becomes the campus belle, and accidentally gets mistaken by the Boss for his unattainable first love?
Under the suspicious gazes of the other players, Lu Mian thinks guiltily: ...Don't look at me like that. I'm really a player, not an NPC. I'm only pretending to play with them, but I'm really playing with you...
