When Hikari Got Super Intuition

(January 2025: I logged into this account today to delete three other short stories I wrote. This one should probably be deleted too, but I've already written 100,000 words, and it feels like a waste to erase it, so I decided to keep it. Still, I want to explain why I completely abandoned this story back then: the Japanese Public Security Bureau was preceded by the Tokko, which served the Japanese invaders who attacked our country. When I learned that, I couldn't keep writing, because I would definitely have killed them all off. It was better to end the story back in middle school and let them remain students forever. Please don't wait for more updates. I won't be updating this book again, and I sincerely apologize for letting everyone down.)

Suou Hikari never thought of himself as lucky, but he was always able to meet people willing to help him.

On the day his home was destroyed, someone gave up their own life so he could survive. From then on, he had a teacher, though the relationship was one-sided.

When he came to Tokyo, anxious and unsettled, someone stood up for him when he was bullied. From then on, he had a childhood friend.

When he first entered the police academy, looking forward to the future, he met several gorillas of mysterious combat ability at the school gate. From then on, he had a group of good friends.

The next day, he had a dream about a future he would never accept. No, he refused to acknowledge it as the future.

"Hiro, why do you suddenly look so serious?"

"It's nothing. I just want to tell everyone that 5-4=0 is an equation that doesn't exist."

A word from the author:

First of all, I'm a newbie writer who hasn't watched Detective Conan. To write this story, I'll first follow the timeline and watch the Police Academy arc, then Detective Conan. Readers are welcome to give me feedback, though whether I make changes will depend on the outline (which doesn't exist).

Second, there may be a little or a lot of content from other anime early on. I don't have any chapters saved in advance, so I'll just see how it goes. I don't know how much there'll be.
