After Failing to Turn the Male Lead and Supporting Male Characters Gay

Don't read this, run! The author wrote it in a fit of frustration. You can tell from the word count that it shouldn't be allowed in.

I'm Mo Yuyan, a gay man who transmigrated into a book. I want a sweet romance and a wonderful boyfriend.

After I transmigrated into the book, I realized I'd landed in the xianxia novel I'd just finished reading on Qidian. I know how this trope goes: make the male lead fall for me, and I'll get the whole world.

But I failed. He said I was his best friend, and that he only liked women.

Okay, I get it. Maybe I picked the wrong guy. Maybe I should try the devoted supporting male lead, the pitiful little boss, the seductive villain, the pure-hearted Buddhist disciple... one of those routes.

But I failed every time, collecting Friend Cards, Elder Cards, Buddy Cards, Soulmate Cards, and a whole bunch of Brother Cards.

After giving it some serious thought, I realized that a truly straight man can't be made to fall for another man. So I went after a gay man instead and decided to grit my teeth and be the top.

At the ceremony where my partner and I were exchanging tokens, a bunch of bastards barged in, saying they were wrong, they regretted it, and they'd realized they were gay.

I looked at all the former boyfriend candidates who fit my tastes, then at my fiance beside me, who was watching them with the same shining eyes, and I finally understood.

"Master, if I switch to the Emotionless Dao, can I join the Buddhist sect?"

"Lay practitioner, the last time you entered my temple, you made our Buddhist disciple renounce his vows. Since then, the temple has added a new precept..."

"I understand, Master. No need to say more."

"Whenever Mo Yuyan comes within a hundred li of the Buddhist temple, all of the temple's promising young men must go into hiding."

A silly comedy. Don't expect too much logic. I haven't decided on the pairing either, so feel free to pick a favorite. A solo ending is impossible. The male lead is a sucker for good looks.
