The Sword Shatters the Firmament [Cultivation]

During a famine, Su Hanshuang was taken in by kind members of a passing sword sect and became a humble servant in its outer sect. Silent by nature, she always sat alone beneath the towering Fusang tree. Others learned to draw in spiritual energy at seven, but she still hadn't succeeded by the age of ten. People mocked her, calling her a little failure in the outer sect who couldn't even set foot on the path to immortality. She endured their scorn in silence. The mockery ended when she was thirteen. At the outer sect tournament, Su Hanshuang held a broken wooden sword, and every outer sect disciple fell to that seemingly ordinary blade. The summer sun blazed overhead. She stood alone, all the light between heaven and earth gathered around her. The sword in her hand was her heart. And so began her path to the heavens. Reader's Guide: 1.
