Real Person, Please Keep Your Distance

After watching the latest episode of the anime, Ling Li closes her eyes, unable to calm down for a long time. Her mind keeps replaying the scene of Mahito being beaten until his eyes roll back. She wishes she could dive into her phone and join in. But when she actually gets pulled inside, things don't go as ideally as she'd imagined. Two people and a curse spirit are fighting fiercely, stones exploding everywhere. Ling Li dashes around, cheering as she watches. Because she is being far too loud about enjoying the show, Mahito glares at her. * When Mahito comes looking for her to take revenge, he discovers that he can't transfigure this human. So he begins conducting experiments on her every day, and Ling Li is forced into a daily routine of torture. During this time, Ling Li goes to work, comes home, and gets dragged into experiments, from eight in the morning until eleven at night. At the end of her rope, Ling Li figures that if she can't beat him, she can reason with him. With her silver tongue, she manages to send Mahito off to study humans. But her cleverness backfires. She becomes Mahito's teacher, as well as his lab rat. Whenever Mahito learns anything new about humans, he has to test it on her. Increasingly exhausted, Ling Li decides to put her escape plan into action. CP: Mahito x Ling Li Reader's Guide: Mahito is out of character: he becomes clingy, obedient, and love-struck.
