★Plot blurb:
The repairman Pin Qing, who had no rights, came back to life.
He couldn't remember what had happened the last time he died. He was simply told that he still had to work for the Infinite World, fixing all kinds of malfunctions so the instances could keep running smoothly.
He was a machine created by the Evil God to maintain the balance between life and death. To put it bluntly, he was a pawn: desireless, helpless, and without anyone to rely on. The program implanted in his mind controlled his actions, and even his life and death were beyond his control.
But something seemed different this time, after he came back to life.
A human taught him compassion, and a madman taught him love.
The repairman awakened to his own consciousness, and this "tool pawn" chose to overturn the entire chessboard.
Only later did the players realize:
Pin Qing wasn't a lackey of the world's laws. He was the key to destroying this place.
He would be revered as a new god and lead humanity back to freedom.
★Romance blurb:
Pin Qing caught the attention of a madman named An Heper.
He'd escaped from a higher plane, treated the world's laws with contempt, and loved to stir up trouble and muddy the waters. He diligently sabotaged the instances, giving Pin Qing a lot of extra work for no apparent reason.
Working overtime all the time was enough to drive anyone mad. Faced with these man-made malfunctions, the repairman finally lost his patience.
He grabbed An by the collar and demanded to know what he was after.
[I want your blood. I want your life.]
[But now, I've changed my mind.]
[I only want to lock you away... Your voice, your face, your body, your gaze, even your shadow. I won't leave a single thing for anyone else.]
An held his ankle and whispered hoarsely in his ear, the madman repeating all three names he'd used for him when they were in love.
"I'm going to defile you, my Father God."
"Your Majesty, remember to love me."
"I only want to drag you into the abyss that belongs to me."
★Before you read: A clichéd amnesia plot. The story opens at their third meeting and features the author's favorite tropes: [corruption] [madness] [pseudo father and son, with the top being the adopted son] [archenemies]. The plot-to-romance ratio is roughly 6:4.

★Content warnings: Some cosmic horror, and an original setting that is practically a whole new world. The bottom has many secret identities, and the top is [born evil] and will not be redeemed. There is a secondary couple, but they have very little page time. The instances lean toward European and Western fantasy settings, though they may also take place in India or Egypt. The style is my own brand of over-the-top melodrama. This is not horror, and the pacing is slow to warm up.
"My very existence is to 'maintain balance.' That is the program written into my mind. But 'loving you' is carved into my bones just as deeply. That's the law I wrote for myself."
"You are the one being for whom I can defy my instincts."
