This is a continuation based on the final shot of the third ending of The Ferryman. Zhao Li becomes Xia Dongqing's eyes, and from then on, the two share one body. Ya briefly escapes Kunlun and lives with Dongqing. Dongqing uses his graduate degree to become a teaching assistant at a university, and together they embark on new adventures in a new place.
This is just a story from my own imagination. Whether it's well written or not, I wrote it for my own enjoyment, so I hope you have fun reading it. I'm a die-hard fan of The Ferryman. It kept me company through high school and even college. I hope Zhao Li, Xia Dongqing, and Ya's story will continue forever in that world.
Theme: It uses ghosts and gods as a metaphor for people, but in truth it only adds to the sorrow.
