The Young Imperial Consort

(If you like it, please add it to your favorites~ The full story isn't in first person, only this blurb is.) The day the late king married me and brought me into the palace, a heavy snow fell over the capital. Prince Liang had been kneeling in three inches of snow for three days and three nights. When the bridal sedan passed him, he didn't look up at me. His hand hung at his side, clenched into a fist, the bones of his fingers pale. Everyone said Prince Liang wanted to go fight in the north, but the emperor loved his younger brother too much to let him go. Only I knew that Cen Suruan was kneeling there because I was marrying the emperor. Actually, I have a secret: Prince Liang, Cen Suruan, loves me more than anything. * After seeing me dance once, the ailing emperor took a fancy to my beauty, stole his younger brother's fiancée, and issued an edict making me his Noble Consort. Night after night, he tormented me in bed, yet the ministers blamed me for being a bewitching consort. The emperor was in poor health, so before he died, I found someone else to rely on and made a move on the chancellor, who kept his distance from women. To my surprise, he accepted. After the emperor and I made an excuse to leave the palace and faked our deaths, I became the chancellor's wife. I never expected the emperor to be so heartbroken when he heard I had "died" that he vomited blood. He passed away not long afterward. Prince Liang became emperor. Afraid the chancellor would lose me to someone else, he went mad and kept me under house arrest, his gaze hazy as he said it was because he loved me too much. Fortunately, Cen Suruan eventually found me. 1. A possessive love story, with a heroine so beautiful she's breathtaking. 2. The heroine isn't a virgin, and may have more than three men. My upcoming novels next door, "E Yu" and "Gao Jia," are available to check out. Theme: Be sincere.
