My Fated Partner Only Wants to Pursue the Path of Ruthlessness

Chu Yunjing never imagined that his cold and beautiful master would kill him.

His master's sword pierced his heart, yet he left a kiss on Chu Yunjing's lips.

Chu Yunjing died with his eyes wide open, full of confusion.

When he woke again, Chu Yunjing had been reborn with a System.

The System told him he was the male lead of a master-disciple novel, and his master was his destined partner. He would defy the natural order, betray his master, and drag the lofty, love-averse man down from his pedestal.

Chu Yunjing: Holy crap, I'm that awful!

System: No, you can be even worse! Make him go mad with love for you, and have him smash through walls for your sake!

Chu Yunjing: My master cultivates the Unfeeling Dao. If I dare disrupt his path to immortality, he'll scatter my soul into oblivion.

System: ...He's your destined partner.

Chu Yunjing: My destined partner only cares about cultivating the Unfeeling Dao.

System: You can destroy his Unfeeling Dao.

Chu Yunjing: I refuse to be an ungrateful wretch!

The System declared: Master, your disciple is far too respectful of you. He's no easy mark.

The Jun family's ancestor killed his wife to attain the Dao and achieve supreme immortality. To follow in his ancestor's footsteps, Jun Zhiqing chose to kill his disciple to attain the Dao, weaving lies and scheming against everyone to make it happen.

If killing him once doesn't work, then kill him a second time, a third...

Chu Yunjing: Master, in your heart, am I nothing but a stepping stone on your path to immortality?

Jun Zhiqing: So what if you are? Chu Yunjing, I gave you your life.

Chu Yunjing: You saved me just so you could kill me? Jun Zhiqing, do you even have a heart?!
