First-person narration. BG romance. Not a Mary Sue story. The heroine will probably end up with Chrollo, but there's a small chance that could change depending on how things go.
Blurb:
I lost my memory. When I woke up, there was no domineering CEO or wicked rival, only wilderness survival and a criminal gang.
I ran, he didn't chase, and I was desperate to fly away. I wanted to live a quiet, ordinary life, but life kept beating me down all the same. There was nothing for it: I had to keep getting ruled over by one person or another and meekly follow the powerful just to stay alive.
Damn it, what's the point of being alive?
Rise up, all who refuse to be slaves! (Nope.)
Later, my golden finger finally unlocked. I was thrilled, but then I lost my memory again.
Me: Well, fine.
The men: We used to...
Me: You don't look like good people. Get lost.
I beat the men until they were crawling all over the ground. At last, I could live the way I wanted, free and easy. The ones who used to beat me were now getting beaten by me. My life wasn't much like the ordinary one I'd once wanted, and I'd sometimes wondered if the new me was really happy.
Looking down at the cannon fodder at my feet, I thought it over and came to a conclusion: I was extremely happy.
What do men matter? When I was barely scraping by, I never saw you worrying about me.
The heroine is weak at first but grows strong later. It's a power fantasy, I guess, but she won't become invincible and rule the world.
She won't attract a crowd of admirers for no reason. The romances are genuine, and many of the relationships are friendships or family bonds.
Theme: Belated devotion is worth less than grass. (Nope.)
Update soon! (Ruthless reminder machine)
I updated it just after I discovered it. I'm so happy. Spread the flowers and spread the flowers~
