Kira Yoshikage Wants an Exciting Life

My name is Kira...

Well, sorry, but I really can't bring myself to calmly make a weird self-introduction after all.

Don't believe me? Try it yourself. I refuse to believe that talking to your computer and muttering a self-introduction won't make you cringe so hard you dig up a Silver Star.

Great, let's skip the opening and continue.

I'm a woman, 21 years old. I don't have a fixed address, but I own some property in Morioh and Ikebukuro.

I'm unmarried, but I have a boyfriend.

I attend Raijin Academy. I get back to my dorm by five in the morning at the latest.

I'm always top of my year. I only show favor to people who interest me, and I never hide how clever I am.

I smoke, and occasionally drink, too.

I go to bed at midnight and make sure I get four hours of sleep. If necessary, I pull an all-nighter.

Before bed, I drink a chilled bottle of soda, then start playing on my phone. I can usually stay up until dawn.

I stockpile five Fugos' worth of irritability and exhaustion, like I've spent three hours parkouring with Ikebukuro's information broker, and then greet the next morning like that.

Cioccolata says the fact I haven't dropped dead yet is a medical miracle.

I want to make it clear that I'm someone who seeks thrills at all times. Or, as Izaya Orihara would put it, I pursue the "extraordinary."

I don't cling to peace, and I don't fret over life and death. Make a few more people angry, and I'll be high as a kite.

I'm absolutely going to live in the moment, then die a horrible death.

That's my attitude toward life in this world.

I also know that this is my happiness.
