[Harry Potter] A Slytherin's Wish

As the oldest and most authoritative magical object in Hogwarts history, the Sorting Hat finally makes a mistake.

Cara Kate, an orphan born in a Muggle orphanage, is sorted into Slytherin, a house that doesn't accept Muggle-born wizards?

Well, she might as well make the best of it. Under the astonished gazes of her classmates, she'll be an atypical Slytherin!

One day, Dumbledore tells Cara that the Sorting Hat never makes mistakes.

1. Original female protagonist. She's Voldemort's illegitimate daughter, and her mother is also an original character.

2. An upgrade-focused story following the original. From the start, the heroine is a badger in snake's clothing, with few Slytherin traits. She's sorted into Slytherin purely because of her bloodline; her ancestors won't allow her to go to another house (author's setting). She gradually grows stronger later on, but this isn't a traditional Gryffindor-Slytherin romance.

3. Given her unusual identity, the story has something of a strong female lead. Her love interest is a Weasley. There are occasional angsty moments, but everyone gets a happy ending.

4. The ending changes an important detail from the original. Any out-of-character moments, plot holes, or major alterations are on me.

The main story is complete. Bonus chapters will be updated whenever I feel like it. Each chapter is short, so the finished story may look rather long.
