Scene 1:

Reborn Yang Xu, twisted with rage, rushes into the room with a knife, intending to hack his cold-hearted wife to pieces.

PS: This is a traditional matriarchal society, but the leads aren't traditional male and female leads for this genre. The gentle, lovestruck heroine will be "pleasantly surprised" when the tables turn and she's pursued later on.

All in all, it's a sweet romance disguised as a matriarchal-society story?

The hero is called Yang Xu in the early chapters, adrift and alone. The Xu in his name means willow catkins.

Later, the heroine renames him Yang Xu, meaning warmth and radiance, like the rising sun.
