Reborn!: My Love Interest Thinks We’re Still Dating

[Short story] Half a month after you transmigrate, you run into your “ex-boyfriend” from ten years ago. “Ex-boyfriend” might not be quite the right term. He was a romance-game love interest you pursued in a game you played back then. His character was the sporty, energetic boy who was all the rage at the time: a baseball prodigy with a shot at making it to Koshien. He calls you by name. Seeing your startled expression, he gives you the same sunny smile he had ten years ago. “You suddenly disappeared back then, and no matter how hard I looked, I couldn't find you… Honestly…” “, You really scared me.” A sudden oppressive feeling makes your heart skip a beat. When you look up again, his smile is still bright. You blink. An illusion… right? # As you spend more time together, you gradually learn that he gave up his baseball dream and became an office worker who travels for work all year round. You can't help sighing #A realistic ending for the hero of a classic shonen manga (×)# #A boy's dreams can't withstand the harsh realities of life# Note: I wanted to write a corruption arc, so this isn't a completely sweet HE. Theme: Love stands the test of time
