Autumn Rain: The King's Sacrifice

The autumn wind blows down the fallen leaves, and slanting rain washes over the world. People drift upon boats in the wind.

The autumn rain goes on and on, and a chill rises in my heart. In that instant, mourning before the sea, how can I bear to look back on such loneliness?

On the reef, your hair stirs though there is no wind. Tears roll over your fingertips, leaving a faint chill. Your eyes are always fixed on the distance. Waves surge toward you, the tide roaring: so much of your love and hate, beyond counting.
