Synopsis
After the Sakoku Decree was lifted, Kaedehara Kazuha returned to his homeland for a visit, but something unexpected happened during an afternoon nap. He closed his eyes, opened them, and found himself on a completely unfamiliar street. Kazuha had to admit, he was actually... adapting pretty well.
After all, wandering is wandering, wherever you are.
Of course, he still had to find a way back to Teyvat. He could set aside his occasional homesickness for now. His leave from the Crux had been long, and it wouldn't be good to keep everyone worried. If the captain were any more decisive and simply asked the Traveler or Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing to help look for him, he'd probably have a headache waiting for him when he got back.
Disappearing without a word is a bad habit.
This other world was dazzling and colorful, but danger lurked within it too. Beyond Yokohama, where the local customs were especially eccentric, every time Kazuha used his elemental sight and saw a curse, he couldn't help regretting how unfairly he'd judged the appearance of Teyvat's monsters. Still, meeting one person after another, some similar and some different; seeing one beautiful landscape after another, some grand and some gentle; and learning story after story, some passed down through the ages and others held deep in people's hearts: that was why he traveled the world.
He helped a little fox, troubled by the difference in the length of human and yokai lifespans, resolve his worries and watched him find the courage to chase the light again. Beneath a night sky radiant with colorful lights, he rode a Ferris wheel, then pulled the gentle but lonely Nakajima boy out of the gondola the moment it reached its highest point. He faced the domain of an immensely wicked curse, standing shoulder to shoulder with comrades who trusted him with their backs... The journey never stopped. The wind passed without a trace, yet it always left something behind wherever it blew, something that would never fade.
After all, when you're alive, it's best not to leave regrets behind.
If something can be done, why wait until it's too late to reach it and regret everything?
"Natsume said we're friends. Friends aren't afraid to see each other!"
That was the little fox, speaking with conviction.
"The Ferris wheel symbolizes happiness. They say that if someone longs for happiness but can't seem to find it, they should ride a Ferris wheel. When it reaches the highest point, they'll be able to see everything."
That was Nakajima Atsushi, speaking with hope.
And there were all kinds of other voices, all kinds of people, and all kinds of things. Kazuha passed through this place, just as he passed through their lives.
At the same time, the journey wasn't always smooth. The most absurd incident of all went like this:
"Well, it's been a long time. Now that everything's settled, how about we grab a few drinks to celebrate?" said the red-clad man, arms crossed, a blade of grass bobbing between his lips.
Kazuha... Kazuha was at a loss for words.
What could he say? That he was grateful to the Holy Grail for giving him a chance to see that person again, or that no bar would let a minor in except for the establishments run by the Port Mafia?
But never mind.
...No matter what, this was a scene that could only appear in a dream.
"There's no need to grieve today over flowers that will wither tomorrow. Just seize this fleeting moment."
"My name is Kaedehara Kazuha, a wandering samurai who travels far and wide. Since we're both on a journey, why don't we travel this stretch together?"
This is a story born to make up for regrets! I'm doing my best to give it a happy ending!
I'm a new writer, and I didn't handle the first few chapters very well. They're clumsy and awkward, so I suggest you lovely readers check out Chapter Seven, Hachihara, to get a feel for the general style first. If you like it, you can go back and read the earlier chapters. If you don't... well, there's not much I can do about that, right? QwQ
You don't need to know about the Holy Grail and Heroic Spirits to follow the story. The author hasn't figured out a lot of it either, and has been flying through research... I'll explain later.
In my version, Kazuha takes his friend's Vision with him to keep looking for someone who can light it up, instead of leaving it beside the broken sword's grave. (He's not as fixated on it as he used to be; he now takes a more casual, go-with-the-flow approach, like he does with traveling.) Haha, he never would have imagined that transmigrating could involve summoning, even though he himself definitely wouldn't summon anyone. But someone else can help set things up.
Hooray!
...Actually, I just can't get over it... The Vision recognizes him, he's not famous at all, and I guarantee it's the original version of him.
Crossover with Bungo Stray Dogs, Natsume's Book of Friends, K Project, Jujutsu Kaisen, and The Disastrous Life of Saiki K, with FATE as background. K Project appears in the extras.
Updates whenever inspiration strikes, but I probably won't abandon it. Yeah.
That's it, then. Hope you enjoy reading, love you all (heart)~

Oops, my best friend recognized Little Manyo as his descendant, and Little Manyo had already awkwardly picked out two castle towers with her toes. I feel so wronged that I cry and fuss, it's so pitiful~
Updated! Updated!! Hahahahaha, Chuuya, look at how good their wines are. (I looked up the drunken sleeper type. It is said that this kind of person has an easy-going and tolerant personality, is easy to get along with but rarely communicates with others, is relatively satisfied with the current situation of life, and does not have high requirements for the future. Except for the fact that he has not encountered too many ups and downs, which is not consistent, other characteristics are unexpectedly very consistent with Manyo's personality)
What my wife wrote really has the feeling of Manyo. I can feel a sense of tranquility, gentleness and elegance in the words.
I don't think Man'yo can be called "Shirakiri Kuro" or "Shirakiri Kuro". Personally, I think Man'yo is the little naughty boy should be. It's just because of the contrast between the gentleness that Man'yo usually shows and this kind of naughtiness that he is mistaken for "Shirakiri Kuro" or "Baikiri Kuro" (personal understanding)
If it is a treasure chest at the shrine, you should open the treasure chest on the steps directly above the treasure chest when you drop and attack the treasure chest, so that you will not turn into a tanuki.
Hug, I love you so much! Little Manyo is so cute, but when will she be able to change back to her original look? QAQ
Wow wow wow I got into the trap at 1.6 And just missed Manyo. It was delayed in 2.7. Not only was I unable to draw the gods, but Manyo was also far away from me.
As a result, Man'o is a cup, so you can't drink it at all?
Updated, I didn't expect to see the interaction between Manyo and other characters, hahaha, super surprise! So cute! Is this how Manyo would react?
Updated. Drunk Ye Bao is so good. I really want to take him home.
