[Harry Potter] I Think, Therefore I Am

A slow-burn story that follows the original plot, with every effort made to avoid out-of-character moments.

[Elegant, self-possessed Slytherin x calculating Ravenclaw]

[Supreme introvert x energetic extrovert]

Blurb 1:

A whale leaped beside Snape, gracefully swimming close to him and expressing the wondrous, incomparable affection in its heart.

-

Snape knew perfectly well where the whale had come from, and understood exactly what it was trying to do.

Instinctively, he wanted to draw his wand and banish it, but his hands at his sides seemed frozen in place, clenched into fists.

This was Elaine Sinnay's Patronus.

Blurb 2:

"I thought you loved me, Severus."

In the secret chamber, Elaine stared at the mirror before her, tears streaming down her face.

She murmured the words again and again.

-

He had only been asked to look after her, but she had mistaken it for something special.

Snape found the idea both ridiculous and incomprehensible.

In the dungeon, he coldly rejected her without mercy.

Without warning, tears slid down her fair cheeks.

His expression remained unreadable, yet beneath his black robes, his hand instinctively reached for a handkerchief.

Only then did Snape realize he had lied.

[Elaine Sinnay]

[Next-generation Ravenclaw original female lead x Professor Snape]

My heart is a bird of the wilderness that has found its sky in your eyes.
