My Archenemy Dropped His Mask and Quit Pretending

Ruan Yu is the campus heartthrob at No. 1 High School. He's from a good family, handsome, and has always had a mysterious admirer. Throughout his three years of high school, whenever his nemesis Wen Yan made him so angry he was about to spit blood, the mysterious person would be there to comfort him. When the monthly exam results came out, Ruan Yu ranked last in his class. Wen Yan: "That score is so low, even my leftover points are higher. A random ant crawling over the answer sheet would get more right than you." Ruan Yu: "...I like it that way!" The next day, a notebook appeared in his desk, with neat handwriting and clear annotations. During PE, Ruan Yu charged around the basketball court. Wen Yan: "If you're that bad, stop embarrassing yourself. Why not go back to class and do some exercises?" Ruan Yu: "What's it to you?!" After class, a cup of warm water and a few pills to prevent an asthma attack appeared on his desk. Hardly anyone knew about his condition. Ruan Yu tested everyone one by one, but got nowhere. Until one day, he set a trap, pretending to have an asthma attack and pretending to be at death's door. The mysterious person took the bait. Ruan Yu grabbed his wrist and opened his eyes, full of hope. "Wen Yan, what are you doing here?" "I..." "Damn it, give me back my first love!" "Those were your words." * Wen Yan is the top student at No. 1 High School: aloof and sharp-tongued, able to insult people without using a single swear word.
