[Reset] Notes from the Tower of Babel

*Important warning: canon couples are broken up. You're a police academy student, Jiang Xiao. You take Bus 45 to the Municipal Public Security Bureau across the river. Along the way, you experience several different stories with a man and a woman. In your eyes, all you did was help them stop an explosion. But after you get off the bus, you're told that you've acquired a boyfriend. "Have you heard of the Tower of Babel?" "The Bible says that humanity united in an effort to build a tower reaching heaven. To stop them, God made people speak different languages so they could no longer communicate. Their plan failed, and humanity scattered in every direction. Thus, the Tower of Babel also represents the arrogance of mortals and a futile effort." "But I don't see it that way." "The Tower of Babel was humanity's attempt to reach an ideal world. It was also humanity, in its mortal flesh, challenging the gods. The glory attached to it won't be erased by its failure." "It wasn't futile, and it wasn't arrogance." "Just like you are now: unafraid of death, challenging fate, and caught in an endless loop." Theme: Challenge fate.
