Yuji Itadori happened to be at the scene where the Dark Sentinel Ryomen Sukuna was being captured. As Sukuna was shot dead, he seized the opportunity to invade Yuji's mindscape.
This awakened Yuji as a Sentinel, but Sukuna's consciousness remained hidden in his mindscape.
Megumi Fushiguro, who had been in charge of the capture mission, felt he should take some responsibility, so he became Yuji's Guide.
Sentinel-Guide AU, Sentinel Yuji × Guide Megumi. One-on-one, happy ending.
The story leans toward the original The Sentinel setting, though the Sentinel-Guide elements are simplified compared to usual. See the notes at the beginning for details.
Basically, it's a police procedural that stays true to the characters and relationships in the original Jujutsu Kaisen. There's an overarching plot, but the cases are relatively independent, like episodes of a British or American TV series. They solve cases and fall in love at the same time.
Planned as a seven-episode miniseries, plus one special and one extra. Expected to wrap up in 27 chapters.
There are crossovers with other Western TV series, Japanese anime, and games. You can enjoy the story even if you haven't seen them.
The author only ships Yuji and Megumi, so please don't mention other ships involving either of them in the comments. Thank you.
Theme: A Yuji-Megumi Sentinel-Guide AU police procedural.
Wow, I love it so much. There are so few people supporting it. Do you have no motivation to update?
