When Lin Anxin got out of class, she saw the crowded restroom beside the classroom and let out a deep sigh before heading to the one by the stairwell. She had just finished washing her hands when she turned and bumped into someone's arms. Lin Anxin looked up and saw the all-too-familiar face. Shen Yan reached out, picked her up, and set her on the sink so they were eye to eye. She braced both hands on either side of her, trapping her in place. Shen Yan swallowed. "What? Gotten bold enough to flirt with me now, huh?"
"I'm doing all right. Nothing special." Lin Anxin was nonchalant, the corners of her mouth still curved slightly. "Lin Anxin! What exactly are you trying to do?" Shen Yan ground out through clenched teeth.
"Nothing in particular. I just thought you looked really cute like that. Don't read too much into it." Lin Anxin dropped her feet to the floor and pushed Shen Yan's hands away. "I'm leaving."
Lin Anxin's hand was suddenly caught, stopping her in her tracks. She tilted her head. Sunlight streamed through the girl's chestnut hair and fell across her face. The fine down on her skin was just barely visible, along with her high nose and soft jawline. What a perfect profile.
"What is it?" Shen Yan stepped closer, closing the gap between them, and buried her face in the crook of Lin Anxin's neck. "But when you act like this, I don't know what I might do."
"Oh? Is that so? Then why don't you let Big Sister Lin see what Little Sister Shen might do? How about it?"
"No way! Lin Anxin, don't push it. That's enough!" Lin Anxin licked her lips, which shimmered in the sunlight. "Little Sister Shen didn't sound like this before. Hmph. Besides, what did I do? I just said you were cute, right?"
