[Updates irregularly. Not going premium, and the story is free. Hope you enjoy reading. I was hospitalized for a while due to health issues. Once I've recovered, I'll update regularly.] Qin Sinian and Yin Fei were sworn enemies. They had fought tooth and nail since childhood, and in their final battle, Qin Sinian was no match for Yin Fei. A sharp blade pierced his heart, leaving him utterly defeated. As his life neared its end, Qin Sinian swore he would make Yin Fei miserable at least once before he died. So he gathered all his strength, grabbed Yin Fei by the collar, and kissed him hard. He expected Yin Fei, who had an extreme aversion to dirt, to fly into a rage and tear him limb from limb. But after the kiss, Yin Fei stood there, stunned for a moment. Then he pulled out a miraculous elixir he had gone to great lengths to obtain from the merfolk and forced it into Qin Sinian's mouth, saving his life. Qin Sinian lay on the ground, staring at Yin Fei's grave expression for two whole days, too embarrassed to get up. On the third day of silence, Yin Fei kicked him hard and demanded furiously, "Are you going to take responsibility or not?" Qin Sinian: ... Could I just die again now? Qin Sinian had thought that his feud with Yin Fei would go on forever, until one of them died. But when he faced a tribulation of heavenly lightning, and the seventh bolt shattered his immortal bones and left him on the brink of death, Yin Fei appeared at his side and took the eighth bolt for him. Weak and drained, Qin Sinian lay across Yin Fei's lap, feeling his immortal bones reform inside him. He smiled at Yin Fei and asked, "You risked your life to take that bolt for me. Are you in love with me?" Yin Fei, blood at the corner of his mouth, looked down at him. His expression was unchanged, his voice cool. "I hate you." Behind him, blood flowed like a river, and his spine was exposed in all its stark horror. Qin Sinian gave a soft "Oh." He didn't believe him. [Please note: 1.
