His parents were strict with him from childhood, telling him that male insects like them, beautiful but without status or influence, could easily become playthings for high-ranking female insects.
He could only avoid that fate by studying hard and getting a job in the education system.
So he studied very hard.
But unexpectedly, the day before he started work, just after graduating from university, four female insects proposed to him on the same day.
