The Eye of Horus

The first stage of a person's delusions is forcing themselves to believe. When someone asks them about it, they show a restrained side and go along with that person's way of thinking to avoid being challenged.

But when the illness progresses to the second stage, they have fewer and fewer moments of clarity. They immediately begin to show an aggressive side, not only convincing themselves that their delusions are real, but forcing others to agree as well.

...Which stage is she at now?

An immature little sci-fi? Thriller? Horror? story.
