The private room was rowdy and noisy, the lights hazy and flashing. A friend asked Zeng Zile, “What's the boldest thing you've ever done in your life, and what do you regret most?”
Zeng Zile picked up the drink on the table. Her eyes gleamed mischievously and her smile was bright. She thought for just a second. “I locked someone in the women's restroom to pursue them. I wouldn't let them out unless they agreed.”
“And what do you regret most?”
At that, Zeng Zile paused. Her eyes lowered, and for a long while she didn't say a word.
Her friend impatiently prodded her. She tucked away her feelings and gave an unconcerned smile. “Not getting the chance to sleep with someone.”
