My Master Just Wants to Take It Easy

As a fourth-year college student and a total homebody, Shi Xianyu lives up to his name. He has no lofty ambitions and only wants to find a job where he can coast through life. He opened and closed his eyes, and somehow transmigrated into a world of immortal cultivation. His grandmaster and his master ascended one after another. As the most gifted among his generation, he was forced to take over as sect leader. Looking at his hopeless senior brother, then at his equally hopeless senior sister, he feared his sect would go under, so he had no choice but to work hard at being sect leader. One day, while down the mountain on an errand, he heard a storyteller claim that only people with tragic pasts could amount to anything. As luck would have it, he then came across a miserable-looking boy and took him back, eagerly setting about teaching him. As long as the boy amounted to something, Shi Xianyu could happily devote himself to doing nothing. Huo Wangzhi had suffered a hard life. When he was eighteen, an immortal cultivator with an otherworldly air took him in. From then on, he had a master. His master was the first person in the world to treat him well, and he would not allow his master to spare anyone else even a glance. To make his master his alone, he seized his master's position as sect leader and even imprisoned him. He never expected his master not only to refrain from blaming him, but to accept his circumstances quite happily and give him a long shopping list every day, telling him to buy this and that. Shi Xianyu spent his days indoors, feasting on delicacies, and was very glad he had picked up Huo Wangzhi, this precious treasure, all those years ago. At last, he could truly do nothing at all. One day, as he rubbed his overfull belly, Huo Wangzhi wrapped an arm around his waist, fuming. With a dark expression, Huo Wangzhi said, "Master has spent so much of your disciple's money. How will you repay me?" Shi Xianyu let out a satisfied burp. "It's only right for a disciple to provide for his master." Without giving him a chance to refuse, Huo Wangzhi said, "How about repaying me by giving yourself to me, Master?" Theme: Work hard to live the life you want
