Everyone said that Dr. Xu seemed aloof, and his heart was even colder and harder. He had no interest in romance at all. When it came to love, he was completely heartless.

She ran over and shook the sleeping man awake. “Doctor, someone stole a kiss from you!”
Qi Zhi froze on the spot, completely flustered.
A few seconds later, Xu Zongcheng seemed to wake up. His expression softened. “I let her kiss me.”
After the little girl left,
Dr. Xu seemed like a different person. His expression turned cool and distant, as if shrouded in mist, and his voice was flat. “Explain yourself.”
Qi Zhi: “...”
A minute later, she managed to get out, “I didn’t mean to.”
Xu Zongcheng looked up and met Qi Zhi’s eyes. His thin lips moved. “You didn’t mean to? How many times has this happened now?”
Qi Zhi was stunned. So he knew all along!
She asked softly, “Then why didn’t you stop me?”
Xu Zongcheng rubbed his brow and stood up, tall and graceful. His Adam’s apple bobbed, unbearably alluring. He looked at her for a few seconds, then suddenly lowered his head, his lips brushing her forehead. His voice was hot and full of warmth. “What do you think?”
Ahhh! After all that chasing, it turns out they were both secretly in love!
Honestly, Dr. Xu is so sweet when he’s in love.

She blinked. Someone like Liang Shuze seemed born to be the favored child of heaven. Why would he bother helping with something so trivial?
Just as she expected, Liang Shuze casually replied, “Do I look like I have that kind of free time?”

Later, Zhou Fan happened to walk into a brand-name store and learned that the rabbit earrings she wore were a limited-edition collaboration.
Zhou Fan froze for a moment, then felt a flicker of hope. She asked the staff to look up who had bought them.
A few minutes later, the list was placed in front of her.
She scrolled through the page. September sunlight fell across the paper, and the name Liang Shuze stood out on the first page.
At that moment, Zhou Fan remained still for a long time. It was as if time had come to a complete stop.
