Becoming friends with five gorillas was an even more unexpected turn of events. After working hard to change four of their fates, Qichuan Shuo smiled as he perished alongside the Organization, achieving a perfect ending. ...Then he opened his eyes and found himself back at the moment he'd first transmigrated. Qichuan Shuo: "…" After eloquently cursing the heavens for refusing to let him rest in peace, Qichuan Shuo decided to fulfill the promise he'd made in his previous life. Years passed, the Organization was destroyed, and all six of them survived. He was deeply relieved, only to be diagnosed with a terminal illness. Qichuan Shuo: "…" Before dying, he cursed the meddling forces of fate once more. Looking at the five people gathered by his hospital bed, Qichuan Shuo closed his eyes with regret. ...Then he opened them again. Qichuan Shuo: "…" This is never going to end, is it? After multiple cycles, Qichuan Shuo: "Can't you guys get it together?! I'm exhausted from saving gorillas in every single life!" * To investigate the reason behind his endless cycles, Qichuan Shuo uses multiple secret identities to switch back and forth between the Black and Red sides, soaring recklessly at the edge of death. He's either collecting the body of himself (or one of his secret identities) or on his way to do so. And what about the people who suffer massive emotional shocks because of this? Qichuan Shuo (righteously_indignant.jpg): "These are essential trials on the road of life!" According to the System, who preferred to remain anonymous, the victims include but are not limited to a certain shrunken child detective, a certain genius young scientist, a certain blond with dark skin, a pair of cat-eyed brothers, a pair of explosives-disposal twins, a certain moonlit magician... After escaping the Organization, she never considered ending it all. Even covered in sin, she would grit her teeth and live on, because someone had paved her way to freedom with their own blood. [Kainin Hanayama · Blood-Red Rose] The most helpless moment for the shrunken great detective was watching with his own eyes as the person gentler than moonlight smiled and fell into the surging waves. After that, the tides rose and fell in his ears every night, but that person's voice never came again. [Wako Tsukino · A Whale's Fall into the Sea] The Moonlight Magician prided himself on his magic, yet he failed to see through that person's little trick. Pigeons flew from his hat, bringing down a heavy snowfall in spring. You win, he thought. I must have owed you in a past life. [Yuki Kuri · Silent Snowfall] Please note: 1. Written in the aftermath of being emotionally devastated. 2. I know salvation stories have been done to death, but I just love this kind of thing (crying cat head) (please look at the column title.jpg). 3. In every life, the Police Academy group is saved. They all get to live!!! 4. The protagonist has many secret identities, including multiple identities in use at once and identities worn by his real self. The multiple active identities don't get exposed; some of the real self's identities do (for example, the distillery identity). 5. No romantic pairing. Focus on family, friendship, and being doted on by everyone. Theme: Those who light the way for others will also be illuminated by them.
