[Genshin Impact] By Rounding Up, Guardian Characters Count as Visions Too

1. I, Mo Yao, am an 18-year-old soon-to-be college freshman.

After finishing the college entrance exams, I stayed up all night gaming, then played for an entire day and night. And then I transmigrated.

When I woke up, I discovered that something called the Guardian Character System had bound itself to me.

Oh, a System. The usual transmigration-novel trope.

Wait, what???

What is this? Guardian characters???

I looked at the egg that had suddenly appeared in my hand and fell silent.

2. The System asked me, "Host, do you know what a meme is?"

"Sure, I've heard of that. The A Island Zoo, meme contamination."

"Host, just think of guardian characters as a kind of meme. Our goal is to make people in this world recognize and believe that guardian characters exist."

"Host, what's wrong?"

"...Are you people insane?"

3. In the end, I gave in.

Because the System told me that without its help, I wouldn't wake up for another three months.

I'd miss the deadline to submit my college choices.

In other words, all my hard work on the college entrance exams would have been for nothing.

4. Wait... Aren't these guardian characters a little strange?

A bandage-wrapped mass of black goo, an innocent girl wielding the Round Table's shield, a white-haired, blindfolded teacher with six eyes...

I thought guardian characters were supposed to be the same gender as their owners... right?

5. I still underestimated the System.

6. The System said that, as the price for letting me use its powers, I had to draw a random script to use as a guide for my actions.

I drew Demon Slayer.

...Suddenly, spending three months in a vegetative state before waking up sounded pretty good.

7. Thanks for asking. I'm in Teyvat, and I think I can still be saved.
