The Phoenix Man and the Fake Heiress

Fake Phoenix Man Song Chen: fake abstinent, fake refined, fake aloof beauty, genuinely scheming, genuinely willing to do anything. Fake heiress Wen Ying: a long story. After going through the darkest period of his life, Song Chen will do anything to become rich. On the surface, he's an abstinent heartthrob, buried in a sea of knowledge, pure and bright as the moon, too innocent to partake in worldly affairs. In secret, he subtly tempts the rich heiress Wen Ying, step by step making her determined to marry him. He never imagined fate would play such a huge joke on him: the woman he'd gone to such lengths to get was an impostor, a fake heiress! To protect his reputation and pride, he had no choice but to support Wen Ying instead. The fake heiress Wen Ying is a thousand-year-old koi spirit, but an exceptionally stingy one. Getting even a little of her good fortune is harder than reaching the sky, until she meets someone even stingier than herself: Song Chen... Song Chen: You can only shower twice a week. Do you think water is free? Song Chen: Eggs have gone up in price. One a day is now one every two days. Wen Ying: You wear designer suits, so why don't I get the freedom to eat eggs? Do you want me to end up flat as a board? Song Chen glanced at her. "I need those for work. Unless you're going to support me?" Wen Ying thought, You think I can't afford to support you? Supporting you would just use up too much of my good fortune. Unable to stand Wen Ying's daily complaints about being flat as a board, Song Chen gave her his eggs. Wen Ying heard that papayas were the real solution, so she grudgingly gave Song Chen a tiny speck of her koi luck in exchange for papayas... A few things to know: 1. Marriage first, love later. 2. The male lead is a crazy psycho who is both a jerk and utterly devoted to the female lead. 3. I won't be writing this one by the seat of my pants. I've made an outline. I really have. Theme: Love and growth
