[Demon Slayer] Infinite Blade Tale

I am Kyojuro Rengoku, the Flame Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps.

For reasons unknown, I embarked on an endless journey of reincarnation.

It is a grand adventure. Every time I board the Mugen Train, I travel to a world whose nature I cannot begin to imagine.

Some worlds are just like mine: stories set in the Taisho era, where my companions and I slay demons.

In others, things unfold in ways no one could ever predict.

I have seen them, though they were not demons, slaying demons with the same unwavering resolve, only to sacrifice themselves halfway through their journeys.

I have seen children who had already grown up, taking on the duties of Hashira just as we did, and risking their lives to protect others.

I have also seen two brothers from ancient times, who, through a twist of fate, set out on completely opposite paths.

Watching these tragedies, I could only feel that I had to change things. Some I managed to turn around through my own efforts, and others I could not.

At first, after experiencing the same events over and over, I could not understand what mission I had been given. But little by little, I came to understand.

The reason I board that Mugen Train is the outlandish, naive wish I made as a child to my mother and the Sun Goddess Amaterasu. Even so, I will never give up on that wish. I will hold on to this obsession and fight forever.

Inspired by watching Mugen Train, I ended up writing this story. To start with, I passed on both books!

Honestly, I don't even know if I can stick with this thing long enough to finish it. I'll do my best (kneels down gently).
