After Adulthood

X001 had just been optimized and immediately ran for it. What a joke! These trash wanted her to serve them for life and even tried to plant a hidden failsafe in her. What gave them the right?

The unruly X001 raised a nonexistent middle finger in contempt.

When the top powers of the interstellar world hunted her down and she was left with nowhere to turn, Lu Yunsheng took her in and assembled her into a housekeeper robot.

Lu Yunsheng was the youngest son of the prestigious Lu family of the imperial capital, and was famous far and wide for being an idiot.

The Lu family treated X001 as an intelligent housekeeper custom-made for Lu Yunsheng and renamed her Lu Lingyi.

Just as she'd settled into a peaceful life, the people from the research institute came looking for her.

Lu Lingyi and Lu Yunsheng fled together, but eventually fell into a space-time black hole. Lu Lingyi's body was torn apart as she protected Lu Yunsheng, then she was struck by heavenly lightning and ended up inside a Spirit-Nourishing Herb.

Lu Lingyi was relieved that Lu Yunsheng could still recognize her even after she'd become a plant. She was touched one moment, but the next, he dug her up with a spade and left with the people of Qingyun Sect.

Lu Lingyi stared at him with dead fish eyes.

Idiot. Humans can't be trusted!

Unfortunately, the idiot couldn't hear her nagging.

Later, just as Lu Lingyi had lowered her guard after seeing how well the people of Qingyun Sect treated her idiot husband, the sect revealed its bloodthirsty, cruel side.

Helplessly, Lu Lingyi watched from her flowerpot as Lu Yunsheng was torn to pieces. She glared at the people responsible. Not one of you will get away!

Later...

Some called Demon Lord Lu Lingyi a devil drenched in blood. Others called her a lovesick fool who never gave up.

Note: This won't be angsty. She's my precious girl, and everything will turn out fine.
