I Need to Get My Husband to Quit for Good

As the eldest daughter of the Chengdong Association, Meizuo Mari's greatest wish right now is to find a boyfriend from outside their world. After that, she wants nothing but romance, with no more bloodshed and danger.

The first person she sets her sights on is Eitoku Academy's heartthrob, Hanazawa Rui.

Before she can confess, she discovers that his heart already belongs to someone else.

When her father hears about it, he's delighted and immediately finds his daughter a replacement, with uncanny precision: he assigns Tanno Ryuya to be her bodyguard and fiance.

Meizuo Mari stares seriously at her fiance's face: ...

Well, it's not that they look a little alike. They look exactly the same.

Tanno Ryuya, who's gone undercover, makes an agreement with Mari to pretend they're engaged. Once she's grown up, he'll let her find another boyfriend. Since she doesn't want to date someone from their world, she agrees. It's not as if she likes him anyway. But after some time passes, Mari realizes that human nature is... Damn it!

After the indignant Mari gets into high school, she meets replacement number two, Takitani Genji.

But things don't end there.

Just when she's forced to choose between two people, Tsukushi and Domyoji, over at Eitoku Academy, get married, and Hanazawa Rui is back in the running.

Meizuo Mari: ...

Thesis: There really isn't one.
