The insectoid army pressed in from the north, and the world ranked seventh in the rankings imposed mandatory conscription.
You Ying headed for the battlefield.
When her classmates heard the news, they said, "The road ahead is uncertain, and staying in touch will be difficult. Take good care of yourself!"
As she packed, her family said, "The journey is full of danger, and starships are unforgiving. Be careful!"
Before she boarded the warship, her closest friend said, "The sea of stars is boundless and the defensive line is long. Don't forget why you started!"
Everyone who knew You Ying watched her leave with worry, certain that years would pass before they heard from her again, if ever.
And yet...
When one legendary tale after another about You Ying arrived alongside frequent reports of victories at the front, her classmates were stunned! Her family fell silent! Her closest friend was speechless!

Everyone who had ever subscribed to the Imperial Daily knew that when battles in the north were flaring up, there was a young woman who stood apart:
She was fearless and alone, roaming the stars just to bring vital military intelligence back to the Empire.
She was clever and resourceful, pushing herself to the limit and reaching the pinnacle of the Seventh World rankings in just a few days.
She stayed calm in a crisis, leading her squad into battle across the vast sea of stars and earning the name "the Miracle Defense Line."
Fearless, clever, and composed in a crisis, the youth gave each of these labels a deeper meaning.
When her story was known in every household, when the insectoid army was driven out of the north, and when every imperial citizen had committed the youth's name to memory...
The name You Ying was carved into the Hall of Heroes.
