Nangong Yao is an NPC in the full-dive online game Oracle of the Gods.
He doesn't have to give players quests. He can do whatever he wants, serving as the most handsome background character in the main city.
He was very happy, because he was the richest NPC in the main city, the freest NPC, and the NPC who got photographed by players every day because of his good looks and heard all kinds of flattery.
Then one day, a bug appeared in the game: players could kill NPCs and create new rules!
Faced with crazed players who killed every NPC they encountered, Nangong Yao decided he had to survive!
He would... disguise himself as a player!
But the leader of the guild he joined, Su Yecheng, was a pain in the neck who was always picking on him.
Then one day, Su Yecheng rescued him from a crazed player and told him, "Your secret identity has been exposed."
Nangong Yao: ...
So, does that mean you'll kill me?
Su Yecheng had been playing the full-dive online game Oracle of the Gods for five years.
For five years, he had been the god of PVP, topped all kinds of competitive rankings, and founded and led the biggest player guild, "nirvana."
Oracle of the Gods developed a bug. NPCs were being killed, maps were being destroyed...
Amid calls from the opposition, Su Yecheng stepped forward to defend the game's original order.
But... how did an NPC end up in his player guild?
Why does he keep exposing his secret identity?
Su Yecheng: I've been busting my ass to keep your secret identity hidden!
Nangong Yao: Emmm...
