I Took the College Entrance Exam with Myself

[The title and blurb may be revised and polished. The premise won't change: I just want to write a story about studying hard and turning regrets around.]

Mo Xiao woke up to find herself bound to a System called "Turn Your Life Around" and back in her hometown at the age of twelve.

In the body of a twelve-year-old girl she had never met.

System: "People with a deep regret about a particular point in their lives are detected and located by us. Host, you can find your twelve-year-old self and rewrite your life."

System: "If things follow their original course, the you here will end up with the same regrets you have."

At that moment, countless scenes flashed before Mo Xiao's eyes.

Her college self, afraid to see the words "college entrance exam" every June and too scared to open social media;

her self who watched everyone around her move far ahead, while she stayed stuck in place, refusing to change;

struggling in vain, only to sink deeper and deeper.

Her gaze passed over the red honor roll before her, then stopped at the words "First in the Grade, Mo Xiao."

"They're still wasting their time playing those silly games. Someone like me, destined to achieve great things in the future, would never..."

Mo Xiao watched her younger self ramble on and quietly covered her ears. "What was that you said, System?"

System: "...The entire process has to be livestreamed."

Mo Xiao: "Can I quit now? I choose 'Let me keep my good name in this world.'"

System: "It's too late. Besides, your situation isn't that serious."
