Character setup: A sweet, powerful female exorcist versus a female big shot who plays the pig to eat the tiger and pretends to be delicate
- Synopsis:
Yi Junli, a disciple of the 666th generation of the Maoshan Sect, went up the mountain to train at the age of three and completed her studies at twenty. When she came down, she discovered that the ghosts and monsters once seen everywhere had all disappeared. She was unemployed from the moment she came down the mountain.
Unable to find any work, she went through a stretch when she never knew where her next meal was coming from. When things got really bad, she even slept under a bridge.
Then one day, she woke up to find the bridge gone. She was in an unfamiliar place, with five strangers beside her. After asking around, she learned she'd been pulled into a horror world, becoming the 99,999th person to enter it.
Only then did she understand: the ghosts hadn't disappeared. They'd just been driven into this world, and people like them had been chosen.
Watching a ghost bride bouncing around, a work ghost with no weekends, a college-graduate ghost unemployed straight out of school, and the rest, Yi Junli fell silent. Wasn't this exactly what she was trained for?
“A-Li, I'm scared!” The delicate beauty she'd met on her first day fell into Yi Junli's arms. Yi Junli looked at Bai Jiangmian's pretty face and the expensive luxury watch on her wrist, worth a million yuan.
Yi Junli swallowed and patted her chest. “It's okay. I'll protect you!”
After teaming up again and again, Yi Junli's wallet grew fatter and her life got better and better. She thought the person she'd been carrying was just a fragile young heiress from a rich family. Then an accident sent them into an SSS-rank ghost world.
As the monster's claws reached for her, Yi Junli thought she was done for. At the crucial moment, she shoved her only life-saving item into Bai Jiangmian's hands and told her to run. The delicate woman pushed her hand aside, suddenly drew a long sword, and with one sweep reduced the SSS-rank monster to dust.
Yi Junli was stunned. As soon as they left the horror world, she tried to run, but the woman dropped her pretense, grabbed her sleeve, and pinned her to the bed. Her eyes were full of possessiveness. “Yi Junli, you're not allowed to go anywhere!”
