The Strongest One Became the Squatter Guarding My Door

The Nakamikado family has a daughter who is not only one of the most beautiful women in Heian-kyo, but also strong enough to punch fallen gods and kick demons.

Later, she took a liking to the sorcerer from the Gojo family, and they slept together. It was pretty great.

The man from the Gojo family wouldn't stop pestering her, saying he would take responsibility for Nakamikado Tori, but she refused. He asked why.

[My family is very traditional.]

[That's why I said I'd marry you.]

[No, our family follows the traditional wife-visiting marriage custom. Whoever I choose to let in at night is my husband for that night.]

From then on, someone began waiting outside the Nakamikado home every night...

The acting head of the Gojo family has become famous lately. He defeated a great demon, bested the chief onmyoji, and left the Demon King with severe psychological trauma...

His post-battle statement was: Nothing special happened. Just don't let anyone come to your house at night, okay? Otherwise, I'll think they're all trying to give me a taste of what it's like to be cheated on.

You ask what battle he's talking about... Of course, the battle with Nakamikado Tori.

The timeline of this story is all over the place. Don't read too deeply into it.

[This is a prequel to Backstabbed by the Strongest Boyfriend. You can read this story without having read the other one.]
