Zhang Huaixi is a prodigy among the talented healers of the Wu Clan. Though still young, her medical skills are immeasurable, and the elders have long been grooming her.
But one day, Zhang Huaixi... she was kicked out! (Why? Head to Chapter One to find out.)
And so, on a dark and stormy night, the girl who had left the Wu Clan unexpectedly encountered Jin Ming, a young martial artist who was about to kidnap someone from the clan to treat his illness.
The prologue begins, and the fun is about to start---
Zhang Huaixi had long yearned for freedom after spending so many years in the Wu Clan. But she didn't want to walk anywhere and would always sit if she could avoid standing.
Jin Ming was a cheerful, sweet-natured young man, even though he'd been harmed by someone and might not have long to live.
Hong Shen was a genius girl who had grown up in the Wu Clan but preferred swordsmanship. She'd secretly practiced for a few years and had already achieved some success.
Zheng Fangze was always talking about benevolence and morality. Since Hong Shen had saved his life, he was constantly looking for a chance to repay her by marrying her.
Young people, living by their principles and roaming the world with swords in hand. What could be better?
A note from the author:
I first thought of this story when I was sixteen. I longed for friendship and wanted to grasp an uncertain future, so these four lovable characters and the rough outline of their story came into being.
But sixteen was too soon. My demanding studies and limited life experience meant I couldn't truly understand the world I'd created.
The story ended in a hurry before it had even begun.
This time, though I'm still inexperienced, I want to begin again with this story.
I hope you enjoy it, and please feel free to offer corrections.
