I'm Just an Innocent Jinx

Liu Yu'er spent two hundred years cultivating diligently and finally attained immortality. With a grand flourish of his brush, the Heavenly Emperor appointed her the God of Misfortune.

Before Liu Yu'er could even shake off the leaves scorched by heavenly tribulation, she was sent down to a small world to carry out her divine duties.

The small world was an utterly ordinary CEO-chases-after-his-love novel. The male lead was the Crown Prince of the Heavenly Realm, and Liu Yu'er's mission was to make his rebellious prince's mortal life more difficult, turning his eighty-one trials into a hundred and sixty-two.

To complete her KPI and secure a permanent position as soon as possible, Liu Yu'er gritted her teeth and chose the role of the vicious female supporting character. This character was the male lead's fiancée, forced upon him by her family. Out of jealousy, she repeatedly harmed the female lead, and ultimately met a tragic end. If Liu Yu'er could redirect the harm meant for the female lead onto the male lead, wouldn't that get her the KPI she needed?

But gradually, Liu Yu'er began to sense something was off. Why were the male lead, the female lead, and all the male supporting characters not only at odds with one another, but also extraordinarily unlucky? Could her divine role as the God of Misfortune really be taking effect? Liu Yu'er began to doubt herself.

On the red carpet, the male and female leads stood facing each other, their eyes meeting as sparks flew. Liu Yu'er thought she was witnessing a romance between equals.

The reporters crowded around.
