A Reluctant Life of Civil Service Exams

Fang Yu, an ordinary college student, transmigrates into the body of the only child in a farming family. She knows little about science and math, and whenever she occasionally tries to invent something, she often runs into trouble. Fortunately, she can study and take the imperial examinations to improve her social standing.

She has a whole crowd of older and younger sisters at home, all hardworking and adorable girls. It's just a shame that the ancient world's blatant preference for boys over girls breaks Fang Yu's heart and makes her furious.

Fang Yu clenches her little fists and makes up her mind. Even if she can't use modern science to transform life in the ancient world, she can still do her best to lead the girls in her family toward a better life!

Study, take the imperial examinations, become an official... Step by step, Fang Yu climbs higher and higher, until one day she suddenly realizes she's accomplished a great many things.

[Slow-paced at first, with some domestic details; it picks up later, with a freewheeling plot and a touch of magical realism.]

Theme: Ordinary people may not be able to change the world, so let's start with those around us and bring warmth and light to the people who love us!
