Ye Mingxi was bound to a cultivation System, No. 009, and began cultivating online.
Other Systems could improve your luck and help you find love. This one couldn't.
Other Systems could turn the tide and exchange for resources. This one couldn't.
But! "I can teach you to cultivate! Transform your body and extend your life!"
Ye Mingxi decided to trust it, at least until the System issued its first beginner mission:
"Own a mountain."
Ye Mingxi stayed perfectly calm. "I'll find you a gifted young man with exceptional bones. Then I'll ask to be unbound."
Later, she successfully unlocked 009's bonus talent.
"That rock has spiritual energy! Buy it!"
"That plant is about to gain sentience! Go snatch it!"
"Awooo, that mountain! That mountain is amazing!"
Gu Zhanyuan discovered that a little housekeeper had joined his household. She was efficient, enthusiastic, and thoughtful.
Satisfied, he considered giving her a raise as a reward.
One day, he forgot some documents and returned home, only to see the little housekeeper standing hands on hips before the mountain on his estate, brimming with confidence.
"Great. Here's another little goal: soon, this mountain will be mine."
Gu Zhanyuan: ???
