Mingyue was born among common folk. Her father sold pork, and even at eighteen, no one had come to ask for her hand in marriage. She was born with eyes of two different colors and could see things ordinary people couldn't, so everyone thought she was unlucky.

Mingyue doesn't mind becoming an old maid who never marries. All she wants is good food, a good night's sleep, and to lie flat like a lazy fish. But things don't go as planned.

All kinds of ghosts keep pestering her, demanding that she seek justice for them. This life is simply unbearable.
