I'd heard of cosplayers transmigrating into the original work, but I never expected our whole group of cosplayers to get the chance too. Having fun is fine as long as nobody's secret identity gets exposed, but it seems there's something wrong with the world we landed in...
Other cosplayers transmigrate into the original work and save the bad endings. The more daring ones create an alternate-universe scenario and shock the original cast. But where the heck is our original work??? [Screaming.jpg]
Anyway, on the 25th anniversary of the Akatsuki's debut, our group cosplayed the core members at a convention and transmigrated.
(The following worlds won't appear in order. The main one is Demon Slayer. Bungou Stray Dogs' Yokohama and Jujutsu Kaisen are under consideration.)
So in the chaotic city of Yokohama, scenes like this would occasionally happen:
"Behold my art! Take this!" A blond man with a high ponytail threw explosive clay at the enemy.
"Deidara, tone it down a little." As he spoke, a red-haired, youthful-looking man controlled his puppets to attack.
"Oh? Tobi's just a high school girl with a crush on her senpai!" the exaggerated masked man said, then clasped his hands to his cheeks in a bashful pose.
During the Taisho era, the Demon Slayer Corps received an offer from a mysterious organization and joined forces with them:
"The Akatsuki doesn't work for free."
While the Serpent Hashira was fighting the Demon King, a person suddenly popped out of the mouth of the little white snake Kaburamaru on his shoulder. "Witness Orochimaru's Reanimation Jutsu!" (Not really) (*)
After a jumble of garbled text...
The Sound Hashira, Uzui Tengen, exclaimed, "So this is what a real ninja is like... How flashy!"
They transmigrated to Italy, but their translator only worked for Japanese anime. What were they supposed to do in a strange place where they didn't know anyone?
Fuyuki City during the Fourth Holy Grail War...
At last, they finally transmigrated to the Naruto world...
Notes: 1. No romantic pairings. Everyone in the cosplay group has a friendship- or family-like bond, but how people from other worlds see them is another matter. [The classic Konoha-style secret move of stealing the spotlight]
2. Their strength will have different limits in different worlds. In low-power worlds, their abilities will be suppressed to match the world's power ceiling.
[One line describes the cosplayers perfectly: Everyone gets a chance to be chuuni (not really).]
Theme: Save the bad endings! Our motto is happy endings for everyone. Love life and hope for peace. "Suppose there were an iron house with no windows and almost impossible to destroy, full of soundly sleeping people who would soon suffocate to death. They would pass from sleep into oblivion without feeling the sorrow of dying. But if you cried out and woke a few of the more clear-headed ones, making that unfortunate minority suffer the agony of a hopeless death, would you really be doing them a kindness?"
"But if a few do wake up, you cannot say there is absolutely no hope of destroying that iron house."
