Qin Qixing's main profession: Special-grade exorcist, a legitimate (not really) professional licensed by national and international authorities. Main skill: As long as my BGM is playing, no demon can withstand my rap attack!
Side gig: internationally renowned rapper. You don't know who I am? That's fine, your idol definitely does! Stage name: Abott. He's practically a ghost in the entertainment industry, since he only releases albums and other online works and never makes in-person appearances. The reason? Hearing him rap in person could kill you!
For nearly a century, humanity has been plagued by "Yang." People can contract Yang disease when they're malicious, extremely angry, physically weak, or consumed by an obsession. Without timely treatment from a "plague doctor," the infected turn into mindless demons that crave nothing but flesh and blood. People infected with Yang disease are also contagious, and spending too long around a patient can infect you.
A tiny fraction of humanity stand apart from the rest. Not only are they immune to Yang disease, they also possess supernatural abilities that ordinary people don't. Although human technology has advanced steadily in recent years, existing weapons cannot kill or even injure demons. Only the extraordinary "exorcists" can hunt them. The cooperation between "exorcists" and "plague doctors" is what keeps human society stable.
Naturally, "exorcists" and "plague doctors" are greatly beloved. But they are few in number, and "exorcists" in particular are incredibly rare.
Exorcist ranks and total number of members at each rank:
Special-grade exorcists: 3
High-grade exorcists: 189
Mid-grade exorcists: 1,299
Low-grade exorcists: 4,604
Apprentice exorcists: 28,911
