[Synopsis screenshotted and posted on Weibo on 2022/01/05]

Yun Lin had always had everything go his way. Just after winning Best Newcomer in the entertainment industry, he was diagnosed with an incurable illness.

At the depths of despair, he unexpectedly landed a part-time job: become the System for his nemesis, Chen Yinian. Complete the final mission, and he would be rewarded with a healthy body.

Yun Lin patiently tried to tempt Chen Yinian: Is there any wish you want to come true?

Chen Yinian thought for a moment. Does beating up that annoying Yun Lin count?

Yun Lin: ?

I suggest you try being a decent person :)

With his own life on the line, Yun Lin decided to secretly protect Chen Yinian.

But then

Chen Yinian: Yun Lin keeps sneaking glances at me while we're filming lately. Is he plotting something?

Yun Lin: He's obviously worried about you!

Chen Yinian: Yun Lin's not too bright, huh? He can't even win such an easy game.

Yun Lin: How can you say that about your own good friend!

Chen Yinian: Why is Yun Lin sticking up for me? Does he like me?

Yun Lin: He doesn't! He really doesn't!

Chen Yinian: I realized I like Yun Lin. I'm going to confess to him.

Yun Lin: ...

Chen Yinian: System, System? Are you still there?

Yun Lin said stiffly: The System is currently upgrading. Please try again later.

A minute later, Yun Lin, hiding under the covers with his face bright red, received a WeChat message.
